Cross-cutting issues

MFF is an open and flexible initiative which continues to evolve to reflect changes in scientific findings and policy both at national and regional levels, as well as being able to respond to unforeseen events. As MFF entered its implementation phase, three cross-cutting themes were adopted: climate change, gender and communications and knowledge management. The MFF Secretariat has developed specific guidelines to integrate cross-cutting issues into all MFF interventions.
